Submission Guidelines

All submissions to Mixed Reviews will be screened and must meet the following criteria in order to be published on the site.
  1. Must be no longer than 250 words
  2. Must have proper grammatical structure
  3. Must include a brief plot synopsis but NOT contain "spoilers" or information that will make the book less enjoyable for future readers.
  4. Must include a suggested audience, i.e. "if you like __ you will like this book..."
  5. Must not, under any circumstances, contain profanity or vulgar language.
The following information may also be helpful:
  • No more than 5 reviews will be published for any one title.
  • Please feel free to submit reviews for any book - especially those that do not have any reviews.
  • Mixed Reviews only publishes reviews for young adult literature (interest levels 6th - 12th grade).
