His best friend starts to shoot up steroids and tries to get him to shoot up as well to get bigger. After their coach has to quit in the middle of the season due to prostate cancer, Miles makes a mistake which costs him his spot on varsity. His dad who is very critical when it comes to football is very disappointed in him for being so stupid. He ends up meeting a girl who plays the violin and falls in love with her; however, he doesn’t tell her that. This book was very easy to read, and understand.
